What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday
Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
Black Swan (RTÉ Two, 9pm)
It’s hard to believe it has nearly been five years since Natalie Portman won an Oscar for playing a demented ballerina, but here we are. The film has everything you could want from a horror film – ballet, hallucinations, an overbearing mother, gruesome hangnails. Watch at your own peril.
Sex in Class (Channel 4, 9pm)
Sex education — you might be an adult, but the thought of it still elicits a snigger. In Sex in Class, we see what happens when a Belgian sex educator teaches brings her unconventional/progressive teaching methods to a British secondary school. Sit at the back of the class for this one. #SexInClass
When Ali Came To Ireland (RTÉ One, 10.10pm)
This documentary tells the story of when the great Muhammad Ali came to Ireland in 1972 to fight Al Lewis in Croke Park. We see Ali learn the fundamentals of hurling and chat to Cathal O’Shannon. Brilliant. <3 #WhenAliCameToIreland
Everyone’s talking about… The Great British Bake Off
